Freaked out!

I would like to think I mad mad skills and could surf like everyone else on this island, but the truth is I can't. I went for the first time since I have been here on Saturday, I spent the whole time paddling around and waiting for waves to magically pick up the board and push me, I think it would have been cool to look like those very graceful girls who gently glide across the waves. As I was paddling I saw a huge sea turtle under me, it totally freaked me out, I was about to wet my pants. I mean you would think it would be awesome to have a cool sea creature swimming by you but of course for me the first thing that came popped into my head was, it is going to attack me. I really have always been that awkward child who is scared of certain animals. When i was younger my family went to a farm, everyone was milking the cows, it was precious, I opted out and played with a cat who had the same coloration of a cow, it worked for me. When i was small I had a pet chicken, when it was a chick I loved to hold it, it was so cute with its little wings and yellow feathers. Once it got bigger it started freaking me out and it would follow me, it suddenly grew to be huge and became not so cute anymore, I was sure it wanted to attack me. So you would think by now in my life I would love to have the chance to swim with turtles. One day I do believe my fears will be conquered.
